Application tips:

Surfaces/materials to be glued
Ampacoll Primax is a solvent-free primer for Ampacoll butyl and acrylic adhesive tapes on porous surfaces such as masonry, plaster, concrete, wood, soft fiberboard, etc.

Preparation
The surfaces and materials to be joined must be clean and dry, free of dust and grease. The surfaces must also be structurally stable. Remove concrete and cement residues.

Application
Evenly apply a layer of primer as wide as the tape to the surface. Protect primed surfaces from dust and moisture, etc. Allow the primer to dry. The drying of the primer usually lasts from 15 to 45 minutes, under conditions when the surface is dry and normal humidity conditions. If the humidity is higher and/or the temperature is lower, the curing time may increase. The primer is completely dry when fingerprints can no longer be seen or are barely visible. The primer stays tacky.

Cleaning
Remove the remaining primer from time to time to prevent clogging of the nozzle. It is preferable to cover and protect adjacent surfaces. Spills must be removed immediately from the surface that is not intended for priming.
