What is the best picture of the roof, and can water get into the screw or nail holes? Ampacoll ND Pads nail sealing tape is your guarantee for waterproof roof paints. Cross-lamination, shrinking wood, extreme alternating wet and dry weather cycles, low contact pressure, poor nail adhesion in rafters, mechanical stress from scaffolding or tile trestle, permanent snow cover – these are all potential sources of damage!
Installation tips
With the help of a chalk string, mark the desired position of the batten on the membrane. Glue the Ampacoll ND Pads tape directly to the membrane in the marked areas. Next, you can start the lamination work. Laths are very sensitive to extreme humidity and dryness. Therefore, for better insulation, Ampack recommends using nail sealing.
