Heavy foils for noise reduction Idikell 4021/05

Application tips:

Sound insulation is provided only by joining the entire surface. This should take place on a dry and stable surface that is free from oil and dust. The substrate and the sheet must be at least 15 °C. Due to the viscoelastic properties of Idikell, application may be difficult at temperatures above 20 °C. Remove the paper and press the sheet firmly across the entire area, such as with a pressure roller. The glue sticks immediately; however, it serves only as an aid to installation and is in no way a substitute for mechanical fixation. This also applies especially to surfaces or vertical surfaces. Therefore, Idikell should always be mechanically fixed as well or fixed between two layers of components. Avoid forced tension by leaving expansion gaps (narrow end joints).

Notes:
Avoid direct contact between Idikell and materials containing plasticizers or solvents. If necessary, carry out trials to determine the suitability of the material for the intended purpose.
Transportation and storage:
Store Idikell on a completely flat and level support surface to avoid warping and bending. Please observe the temperature specifications for storage and application.
