Hotmelt is a type of thermoplastic glue, which is usually available in different versions – sticks 12 mm and 43, granules, pads, etc., for the application of which hotmelt guns and equipment are used. Hot-melt adhesives for industrial use have several advantages over solvent-based adhesives. Volatile organic compounds are reduced or eliminated and the drying or curing step is eliminated. Hotmelt has a long shelf life and can be used not only to join two surfaces, but also to fill empty spaces.
