Fire safety is one of the key challenges in modern construction. Currently used Euroclass B or E membranes contain combustible materials and release large amounts of toxic smoke. The consequences are obvious: risks to human life, delays in rescue and firefighting operations, and massive material losses. AMPACK now takes a new approach and launches a fully non-combustible product range consisting of roofing and façade membranes, adhesive tapes. And—for the first time worldwide—the first truly non-combustible vapour barrier.
Safety through a system
The new non-combustible AMPACK products comply with the Euroclass A2-s1,d0 classification and do not contribute to the fire load. As a result, they set a new standard for high-rise buildings, special-purpose structures (such as hospitals, concert halls, etc.), and ventilated façades.
